Mother’s Day Mason Jar Craftivity

May 24, 2017

This year in Speech my students made this adorable craft for their mothers/special women in their lives.

I printed the mason jar template on different colored paper (pink and purple, mostly).  Then I printed the oval with the words on yellow and white paper.

The only thing you need for this craft, besides the free template found here, is yellow paint and glue!

First, each child chose a color paper – mason jar and oval.  Then, we glued the oval at the bottom. Students used fingerprints to make fireflies/lightning bugs inside the jar.

This craft can be used to target: following directions, basic concepts, requesting, labeling, where questions, and sequencing. I hope you enjoy it!
