1️⃣First Day: use this activity booklet to talk about goals, likes and dislikes, therapy times, and more! 😊
2️⃣First Week: collect baseline data, screen kindergarteners, and informally assess a wide range of students with an artic/language screener, pragmatics assessment, and language sample checklist! 📝

Try a device. Print out a board. Give them SOMETHING!

Yeah, that one very specific, not-useful-in-many-situations word that he can say with his mouth is cool and all. But how did you not hear/see that sentence/phrase FULL of pronouns, verbs, grammar, etc. that he just said with his AAC?!

Honestly, the educating of the adults is the most exhausting part for me😥😴😵‍💫

The ultimate bag for literally any mom of young kids and/or SLP!

We use this bag ALLLLLLLL the time. Whether it’s for a two hour outing or a long road trip.

🩵My favorite part is that all of the sides stand up and don’t flop over as you’re filling it.
🩵It’s big enough to hold everything you need but isn’t too deep where everything falls the to bottom, never to be seen again.
🩵When not in use it weighs almost nothing (unlike the trendy bag most people carry around) and folds up so small! And folding it also isn’t a mental acuity test… if you’ve used a snap bracelet, you can fold this. Seriously - who knew snap bracelet technology could be so versatile and practical?!

I showed this bag in stories a while back but never got to show you everything I packed in it. When I knew I’d be packing a puddle jumper, I figured I had to show off how it and so much more can fit in one bag! 🤗

When I hear all of the other parents (both in person and online) lament about all of the PTO and unpaid time required of parents of young kids right now I’m SO thankful for my flexible schedule.

I’ve been lucky enough to do all of these duties and be at all of these events without stressing. And that is one of the biggest privileges in my motherhood 💗
